Press IU-green Abarán group to the opinions expressed by the mayor at the plenary session on 13 September (15/10/2016)

The IU-Green Abarán, Group expresses its total rejection of the statements made during the course of regular full of October 13, 2016, by Mr. Mayor-President D. Jesus Izquierdo, who in a display of irony, made an exercise in "linguistic trilerismo" through comments unfortunate on public property and collective rights, collected and protected by the legislation in force;

in particular with regard to the cattle trails of Abarán, referring repeatedly to them as "caminitos goat", "areas where they passed the dinosaurs," even claiming that "damn the time it was decided to keep" thus trying to justify the lack of development of the industrial estate.

He should forget Mr. Mayor, before removing his hat the litany of disqualifications, the cattle routes are part of both the natural and cultural heritage of peoples, and thus have cataloging public, imprescriptible property, indefeasible and unalienable (there must be a reason).

He failed to make us believe that the industrial backwardness of the people is due to the existence of roads and public roads.

By the same token the Paseo de la Castellana should be a wasteland.

Apart from the grace that sought to demonstrate in its pleadings, it is more worrying that in the plenary hall were present Councilman environment, who sure knows (or at least should know) the responsibility for the management and conservation of these pathways, falling directly in the autonomous region, and who does not open his mouth.

Mr. Mayor should explain why the government of the Region of Murcia (PP) in 2006, rejected the budget from the Ministry of Environment to demarcate some trails, something unusual nationwide.

And perhaps it could also explain why the Community of Murcia, http://www.murcianatural.carm.es/web/guest/vias-pecuarias states in its website that "They serve the livestock transit and contribute to the preservation of wild flora and fauna, in fact in the Region of Murcia act as true "ecological corridors" interlocking 15 natural areas, potentially,

also very useful for rural development.

The cattle routes are, for all this, of great strategic value in the rational exploitation of natural resources and land use. "Like the Ministry of Environment has a different opinion of Mr. Mayor.

If the "caminitos goat" or "nail some Roman" are the best arguments they can offer to divert the real problems of the municipal system, then think again.

He wanted to point out the moon with his finger and we look ahead.

Abarán deserves respect.

From IU-Green Abarán we will continue supporting the defense of the public domain and working for conservation.
