Amanda Cano, the UCAM Athlé of Cieza, was in second place in Spain's Federations Cup held last June 26 in Santander.

Abaranera athlete got a time of 24.29.47 in a 5-mile, improving his personal best at this distance in 12.07 seconds and thus achieving a regional record achieved over time in Moscow.

Amanda Cano came in second position behind the walker Myriam Fernandez, 28, who advanced a few yards away only in the last stretch towards the goal.

Cano will participate, on July 10th in the Championship of Spain by Club which is held in Nerja (Málaga), ending a brilliant debut in his first year as a junior, after which replenish our strength for next season.
