El Teatro Cervantes de Abarán hosts opera LA TRAVIATA (22/07/2010)

The great success of this opera, which will be presented on 14 August, the beauty lies in constant vocal writing, especially for the role of Violetta, Verdi describes what will be the very essence of drama and anticipates completion by two major themes: love and death

The Company "The Concerlirica Opera Company will stage the 14th of August at the Teatro Cervantes LA TRAVIATA, opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi.

The text of the play is by Francesco Maria Piave and is based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas (son) La Dame aux Camelias.

It premiered at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice in 1853.

The show will take place at 22.00 hours.

SYNOPSIS

Violet distinguished Parisian courtesan, falls in love with Alfredo Germont, with which they will live to a fifth next to Paris.
