Francisco and Loli, natives of Tenerife, began their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela by bike on 5 July.

Since leaving Algeciras have traveled about 1,343 miles and its goal is to reach France.

The marriage began this adventure seven years ago and since then, every summer, the same route.

However, in this new edition of his trip have chosen a different route, which has led them to know the town of Abarán, who will visit for several days.

Francisco states that each stage is a different experience.

For his part, his wife states that the journey itself is an illusion that grows inside because they may have accumulated stories when they are older. "

On their way through the town have aroused the curiosity of passersby who asked them constantly the weight of their bikes.

The sum of 82 kilos Francisco, "in addition to what is necessary to install a tripod for the camera, browser, support for the video camera and a cassette to go listen to music, which encourages us to continue without break," he says.

The car weighs about 220 kilos Loli "is like a tricycle, has three wheels on which rests a kind of basket where we keep the little baggage we carry," says Francisco.

"We are delighted with the surrounding river valley is wonderful. We will be until Friday or Saturday Abarán and after this break, we will continue our journey," said Loli.

Since yesterday, these two friendly pilgrims walk with their belongings on our site while resetting forces to continue their adventure.
