Jesus Yelo Gomez introduced his first book entitled Abarán, chronicles a reporter (15/10/2010)

Yelo Jesus Gomez, a correspondent for the newspaper La Verdad in 1983, presented tonight at the Teatro Cervantes his first book entitled "Abarán, chronicle of a reporter. More than three decades of journalism at street level."

It contains the most relevant news occurring in the town from 1975 to 2010.

A contemporary history textbook abaranera through the eyes of veteran journalist.

In this analysis, Yelo takes stock of the 35 years he has been writing about all aspects of society: parties, sports, construction, infrastructure, tributes, events, politics, fights, etc..

The text includes news, opinion and "constructive criticism", says the author.

The book is divided into chapters and has numerous photographs and descriptive information.

"Writing a book is the dream of my life made possible by the help of many people," said Jesus Yelo, "is a dream, an unresolved for the moment I passed but now lack the reader's opinion," he says.

The book is the result of a work of investigation and documentation through its records that the author has conducted over six months.

"The work is a tribute to Abarán and all people who live this town," says the columnist.

"I wanted to reflect all aspects through associations, athletes, preachers, housewives, whom he calls" pro abaraneras "- politicians, magistrates, and others through their profession or social function have marked milestones in the history of our people. "

The author also tells us that there is a section on events which is presented as an emotional remembrance of people and disappeared and with the permission of their families are reflected in this text.

Yelo Jesus defines this work as "the most recent history of Abarán; of the last 35 years" and predicts that it displayed very moving photos of groups.

The book will be launched at 20.30 at the Cervantes Theatre and will feature speeches from Antonio Eugenio Gómez Gómez, Abarán mayor, Joseph S.

Carrasco Molina, official historian of the town, José Gil García, president of the Center for Abaraneros, Mariano Caballero Carpena, journalist and author of the foreword and Alberto Aguirre, director of the Truth.

Yelo Jesus began his work as a journalist in Online Journal in 1975 and continued in it until it was closed in 1983.

Since then a correspondent for The Truth in the municipalities of Abarán, Eyes, White, Ricote, Ulea and Villanueva.

Also worked for 10 years with the local newspaper "La Noria".
