Primary centers participating in the campaign Abarán "grows in security" (24/01/2011)

Students from Primary 5 of the gang learn together PREVENIX and through briefings basics of risk and accident prevention in the family, leisure and school, will also participate in a drawing contest with special prizes

Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gomez, accompanied by Thomas Perez, director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, presented this morning at the premises of the Local Development Agency, located at the CIMA, the campaign "Increased security."

The event was also attended by Sebastian Peñaranda, business area director UCOMUR, José Luis Tornero Carpena, Councillor for Local Development and Employment, Education and Youth, as well as directors of the six schools participating in the program.

Promoted by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Community, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, this project takes place annually in all local schools and is aimed at students in 5 of primary school.

"This is a regional campaign that has informative materials, multimedia games and a worksheet so that students participate in a drawing based on prevention in their family environment, leisure or school," the mayor of the town, they appreciated the presence and assistance of the directors of schools.

For his part, Tomas Perez explained that the campaign grows in security "has been held every year in all municipalities of the Region of Murcia and" fundamental objective is the dissemination of safe and healthy habits in our society from the time they early. "

These concepts are taught through briefings UCOMUR developed by the company, support the campaign on the risks that children are at school, when traveling from home to school and home environment.

Drawing Contest

After receiving the lecture, children can participate in a drawing contest through which the organization receives additional information from the risk that students most frequently identified and considered more serious.

Also, students who participate in the drawing contest attend a series of awards at local and regional (cameras, mp4, lots of books, bicycles, Nintendo DS or PSP, etc.).
