The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, accompanied by the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, today inaugurated the eco-park located on the Place de Las Colonias of the municipality that serves 13,000 residents and covers a total area of over 2,000 square meters .

The new eco-park will also help to "increase recycling rates and reduce the uncontrolled dumping of waste from large," he said.
The owner of Agriculture and Water added that thanks to eco-park citizens can separate the hazardous waste generated in their homes and placed in a safe place "to avoid unnecessary risks for the operators of these services and damage to sewage treatment plants and pollution environmental. "
He said that with this, there are now 69 municipal parks that make up the Green Points Regional Network of which 41 are fixed and 28 mobile.
