Murcia Basketball Federation (FBRM), will launch so imminent, the Veterans Regional Premier League, in which competition has already shown great interest in participating Abarán team.

Basketball, a sport that once had a prominent role in Abarán, back in the news these days thanks to the interest shown by a group of abaraneros, that unless last minute changes, take part in the competition organized by the Federation of Murcia basketball and to be called 'I Veterans League Basketball Murcia Region. Those groups of friends, former players or basketball fans, they can form teams and register through the website of the FBRM www.fbrm.es.

Among the requirements in the creation of the Veterans' League, would be the following:

â–º Minimum age for participation, 30.

â–º may challenge the federal league players.

â–º Maximum number of tabs 15, to line up players in a game 12.

â–º During this competition a player can not switch teams.

â–º Documentation required per player and photo copy of ID.

â–º Games will be played Monday through Thursday in Murcia, in the following facilities:

- Bacons Bridge Pavilion on Mondays from 21:00 to 22:00 hours.

- San Antonio de Padua Hall, Monday through Thursday and 21:30 to 22:30.

â–º The FBRM, attending the preferred days and times of each team, will organize the calendar and schedule of each party, for the entire competition.

â–º The playing time of the matches will be as detailed:

- The first three quarters to watch run, lasting 12 minutes.

- The last quarter, clock run 7 minutes, and the final 5 minutes for the clock.

- Five minute break between 2 nd and 3 rd quarter.

â–º The games will be conducted by a referee and table official.

► The estimate for the entire race is 950 €, (there may be some slight variation depending on the number of teams and games).

This amount shall be paid before the start of the competition, once you have registered.

For the moment, according to various reports, have already shown their interest in participating Abarán some teams, Sewer, Capuchins and Fleet.

Entries must be in the Federation before the next day 15 as the date for the start of the league is the 25 th of this month.
