Staff of the Provincial Delegation of the National Institute of Statistics in Murcia, will start this week in Abarán data collection to complete the Agricultural Census 2009.
This is a large-scale statistical operation, conducted periodically to collect, process and disseminate data on the structure of the agricultural sector, as encouraged the Organization of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The main data collected are those related to farm size, tenure and land use, crop areas, irrigation, livestock, labor and other agricultural inputs.
With respect to the municipality of Abarán, questionnaires may be completed on the Integrated Multifunction Centre (Building CIMA), former Cultural Center 'La Plaza', according to the following schedule:
This January, 21 and 28.
February: from 4, 11, 18 and 25
March: 4 and 11
In all cases, this service will be open morning, from 9:00 to 14:00.
Those who have received the letter from the National Institute of Statistics, and already have completed and sent to their place of origin, need not attend this call.
