The Department of Youth, Employment, Education and Local Development Abarán City Council reports on the summer courses at the University of Murcia, through the International University of the Sea, scheduled for 2010 and to be taught in different municipalities the Region of Murcia.

This initiative responds to the objective of the Universidad Internacional del Mar to be a scientific and cultural development, helping to strengthen the idea of a university open to society that supports it.

In this way, offers a large and select proposals for activities that address issues pertaining to the various areas of knowledge, coming to all parts of the Region of Murcia.

The programming that is offered is an approach to the tourist attractions of the participating municipalities, developing leisure and free time with analysis, debate and reflection on current issues.
