Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, closed last Friday, the First Conference on Research and Outreach on Abarán organized by the Cultural Association "The Carrahila" and held from April 30 to May 7 in the town.

During the ceremony, the mayor was accompanied by José Raúl Gómez Sánchez, president of the association, and Jesus Joaquin Lopez Moreno, vice president and organizer of the conference.

Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, said in his speech the quality of the chosen subjects and the development of interventions.

He added his hope that "the days have continuity since they are an opportunity to delve deeper issues of our culture in general and in particular on the local history of Abarán."

The mayor said that these days "encourage reflection and contribute not only to disseminate knowledge but to training in the history of our people, information critical to know a little more and contribute, together, the care and conservation what we have, to the exaltation of that which is indigenous to this county, "he said.

Antonio Eugenio Gomez insisted thanks "to all those who have enabled us to close this conference today, and besides, we could enjoy them."

"An experience, I know, for all we have learned something very beneficial, enriching us with different aspects of life Abaran that encourage us to want to know more, so I encourage all people who love this town and want to the people to continue this work so that the next conference will address other equally interesting topics and to serve as a pro between generations and future generations, "the mayor of the town.

The conferences have enjoyed a total of 16 papers and a historical and environmental path, spread over 7 days, and which have focused on various historical, cultural, educational and tourist town of Abarán.
