Abarán pays tribute to the "master of the wells" (08/06/2010)

The City Council recognized the outstanding work of the master of CEIP Juan XXIII, Juan José Martínez Soler, at the closing ceremony for Environment Week for their continued dissemination of Route Norias and its contribution to local environmental

The Department of Environment closed on Saturday its Environment Week 'wears green Abarán "which have made various efforts to remind people the importance of caring for the influence of the man's hand on the sustainability of our planet.

In this institutional framework that celebrated the World Environment Day, the City of Abarán refused to recognize the extraordinary work of the master of CEIP Juan XXIII, Juan Manuel Martínez Soler, for his continuing spread of Route Norias and its contribution to environmental development of the locality.

The event was chaired by the Mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gomez, General Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Burgos and José María Ramírez Councillor for the Environment, José Gabriel Cano Montoro .

The mayor stressed the importance of "care of our nature," noting the "commitment to suggest measures to help us care for our environment, our river mountains."

"In this unique setting in which we speak of nature as the main resource for humans, is a special occasion to pay tribute to a man who has contributed their knowledge and teaching some of the most beautiful and emblematic of our town "he added.

Antonio Eugenio Gómez Juan José Martínez congratulated Soler, who presented a plaque, Abarán shield and a book in memory of his dedication that reflects the affection of the whole town.

"Their commitment to this people is demonstrated in his involvement in the development, awareness and dissemination of something as precious to these people as are the wells, through the road from each other we have learned to love our nature, provided by the affection of Juan José, a man who has put all his enthusiasm for the preservation and continuity of this legacy, "said the mayor.

Gomez said "delivery as a teacher, sharing his passion for nature with generations of students abaraneros; partner born with everything related to the City Council on the Environment, my congratulations on behalf of all those who have believed in this teacher who have grown up with him, of which we are captivated by his humility, his wisdom and his treatment of others, knowledge of nature, ours in particular. "

This tribute coincides with the retirement of Juan José Martínez Soler, who emphasized in his speech that he now "be time not free time" for further research on ways to enable the sustainability of the planet.

Martinez thanked the tokens of affection and appreciation to him in an affectionate speech where he mentioned his career as a teacher and in which he emphasized the beauty of the wells of Abarán.

For his part, José Gabriel Cano Montoro, closed the Environmental Conference, which this year the Department of Environment has set its focus on recycling as a proposal for generating less disposable waste.

Therefore we have conducted a series of workshops on Integrated Multifunctional Center and a storyteller who has illustrated these objectives in all schools.

These actions are complemented by the activities that took place in the chapel to commemorate the World Environment Day.

During the ceremony, presented the prizes I Outdoor Photography Rally, where participants captured the natural beauty of our town, some snapshots, which will form a gallery of this enclave located in the Valle de Ricote and that projected, to the delight of the audience, through an audiovisual.

The music group "TUA" played a concert composed of traditional songs from Galicia, Ireland and Scotland.

Jorge components (button accordion), Ana (flute and percussion), Irene (violin), Pedro (percussion), Raul (bagpipe, lute, banjo and flute), and Ishmael (bagpipes, bouzouki and accordion) closed the event to the rhythm of Celtic music.
