The Full Council of Abarán observed a minute of silence in sign of mourning for the accident that took place at the railway station Castelldefels beach last June 23 and caused 13 fatalities.

The municipal groups thus expressed the condolences of the entire City Council and citizens of the town and its support and respect for family and friends of the victims.

Also, the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, has expressed a desire, on behalf of all the Corporation and the people of Abarán, for a speedy recovery to the injured.
