The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, visited Abarán to hold a working meeting with the mayor, Jesús Molina, and update the infrastructure needs of the municipality.
Among requests the mayor is conducting improvement works and expansion of the carriageway of the road A-22, linking Abarán Hoya del Campo, along which each year more than 867..000 vehicles, and it is a demand of the residents of the municipality.
The owner of Public Works said that the Ministry will consider the project for this road, at present, has a width of 7 meters and 2 lanes, one for each direction.
The works consist in extending the platform to a total of 10 meters, with two lanes of 3.5 meters each and verges of 1.5 meters.
A length of 4 kilometers.
To carry out this work it is necessary that the City previously made diversion pipe water supply that runs parallel to the road.
