José Gómez Díaz will deliver the opening speech for the festivities of Hoya del Campo 2010 to be held from 17 to 26 July in honor of Santiago Apostle.
Abaranero adoption, José Gómez is a nurse in the pain unit of the Hospital Universitario "Virgen de la Arrixaca" of Murcia.
It is also an associate professor at the School of Nursing at the University of Murcia and president of AREMUPD (Murcia Regional Association for the Prevention of Drug Addiction).
He is also president of the Association of Karate-Kobudo Murcia, his most known in our town, and was appointed Branch Chief of the International Karate Kyokushinkai, both of which he combines with his job coach Bushido Gym.
Family and multifaceted, is familiar with the customs of Hoya del Campo and lived for years the traditions of our people by his widow, Isabel, a native of Abarán, and his family.
