Abarán has new education facilities, an investment for the future (15/07/2010)

Education invests more than € 800,000 in the expansion of two schools in Abarán, Virgen del Oro and San José Artesano, which have more classrooms and better facilities, also will be held to replace the San Pablo school, which involves an investment of three million euros

The new building to be constructed in Virgen del Oro is two floors and will house a multipurpose room and gymnasium, several toilets and new school premises.

The counselor said that the redevelopment of the school and Primary San José Artesano "will begin shortly and will involve the construction of four new classrooms and other school premises."

Also during this year have been carried out refurbishment work in the school John XXIII and in the center of Villa de Abarán High, where he has adapted one of the pavilions to provide the training cycle and other Electrical and Electronics qualification programs professional, amounting to 160,000 euros.

Three million euros to replace St. Paul's College

Constantine Sotoca also announced the launch of other major projects to be undertaken in the medium term, in the municipality of Abarán, such as building a new school, replacing the current St. Paul School.

The Education Minister said that this is a work contained in the Compact for Education which has a budget of over three million euros.
