The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the councilman of Youth Abarán City Council, José Luis Tornero, today visited the 18 young people involved in the field of socio-cultural work Abarán, which for fifteen days are dynamic programs and activities for children and young people of the town and its villages.
From 15 to 29 July, volunteers from different Spanish regions, number of activities that bring value to the local cultural environment and participate in the planning and development of cultural and recreational program of the parish festivals Hoya del Campo, developing further the collective socio-cultural projects aimed at children and youth.
Along with cultural activities, will be complementary activities to leisure, such as roads and visits to cultural attractions, shops, leisure activities and entertainment, and sports such as canoeing down the river Segura.
The council thanked the Youth in our town of Veronica Lopez, and welcomed the participants of the Field of Labour, which since last week are in the area.
"I encourage everyone to participate in the activities planned for these days to be developed through the work area and are designed to ensure fun for both young children," said the councilman.
José Luis Tornero hoped that both "participants and instructors enjoy the host of this people, but above all, have fun and learn about our culture."
The volunteers shared their views with those responsible: "It's a very loving people and we are very happy, but it is a town with a lot of hills."
Veronica Lopez also visited today the field of international archaeological work taking place in Cieza, with the participation of 24 youth.
Volunteers from Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Taiwan and Japan will carry out excavation work in the homes of the old Arab city Siyâsa Medina, as well as stratigraphic, archaeological photography, drawings of plants and sections, plus job classification and inventory of archaeological material.
