Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez and President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, yesterday held a meeting at the Palacio de San Esteban, Murcia, which discussed issues related to local finance, municipal infrastructure and other projects for the promotion and development of the municipality.
Regarding road infrastructure, Antonio Eugenio Gomez said that among the actions that are tendered and go to tender the project is RM-513 highway, the Department of Public Works and Planning in collaboration with the City of Abarán.
Improvements in this journey, which affects the urban section of town, attend a comprehensive improvement of the way through the pavement strengthening and installation of fall protection systems.
Also, the City of Abarán submit a draft that includes the construction of new access to the town through the MU-513 road.
The mayor also briefed the President on the status of the works of the new Municipal Library.
