Last Saturday was held the second edition of the tourist route Abarán MTB, organized by the Department of Culture and MTB routes Murcia.
This activity was the participation of 250 cyclists on a tour of 30 kilometers, combining road, track, trails, coastal walks, and some trial bike friendly roads.
The route was made by the landscape of Menjú, the Madroñal, Balsas de la Reina, Sierra del Oro, Casa Severa, Fuente de Benito, Darrax, Damian Soto, Cañada de Hidalgo, Jarral and Norias Park.
The departure and arrival times are set at this issue in the municipal sports center "Prince of Asturias" facilities that meet higher performance for the runners, ample parking for vehicles, participants receive and changing rooms with showers.
The route was dotted provisioning of liquids and solids, a doctor, ambulance, members of Civil Protection, a brush truck, and two Suzuki vehicles in which employees of the organization were checking the route to facilitate the arrival of the runners.
The tour passed without serious incident, except a pinprick of light wheels and fall, the organization acknowledges the excellent response that a year has had this activity.
After the tour, participants enjoyed an aperitif outdoors in municipal sports facilities and a prize draw.
Councillor for Sports, Federico García Montiel, encourages all who wish to participate in the next edition of the MTB Path, as well as in other sports activities planned for the festivities of the town.
