a candidate for President of the Autonomous Region for PSRM-PSOE, Begoña García Retegui, spent Monday afternoon with a visit to the town of Abarán, which was accompanied by the local party secretary and former mayor, Antonio Francisco Gómez and other socialist leaders and councilmen of the town.
The main reason for this visit was to personally thank garnered broad support for his candidacy in the primaries last-PSOE PSRM October 3, and he got more than 90 percent of the votes of the Socialists and affiliates .
The visit began minutes after five in the afternoon in the company of Felix Gomez & Sons Fruit, which sells more than 3 million kilos of stone fruit per year and 1.5 million kilos of grapes, production who spends 95 per cent export.
In this family business, founded in 1993, Begoña García Retegui talked to some workers involved in the selection of table grapes.
In the tour of the facilities of the company was accompanied by the manager of it, David Gomez, who explained that his company has recently completed an investment of 2 billion euros in plantations of 60,000 new trees, especially in the places of Acebuche and La Serrana, in the town of Cieza, as well as in La Hoya del Campo and White.

Subsequently, the Socialist candidate for President of the Autonomous Region went to Norias Park, where he visited the water treatment plant that supplies the town of Abarán, where he attended the detailed explanations of the process by Joaquin Ortín, Water department head of the municipality.
This plant 200 cubic meters of drinkable water per hour, which comes from the Acequia Menjú, located about four kilometers from the town.
Neighborhood Meeting
Before meeting at the Cultural Center "La Plaza" with representatives of associations and neighborhood groups, had time to take a tour of the old Abarán, where he was presented with the typical pranks abaraneras, a sweet caramel and hazelnut.
In the meeting with members of local associations, mostly women, demonstrated the problems that families live by the mismanagement of Law Unit in the Region of Murcia by officials of the Ministry of Social Policy and the lack of alternative future for the youth of the municipality due to the absence of industrial policy and the search for alternatives, in addition to agriculture.

The Socialist candidate was interviewed on local radio station Tele Abarán, in the "Our eyes" directed and presented Pepe Cano, along with the deputy secretary-general of the PSOE in Abarán PSRM, Antonio Piornos, and Councilman David Gomez.

After recording television, Begoña García Retegui ended the day at the Casa del Pueblo, where they had gathered about 150 members and supporters Socialists, who personally thanked the support received in past primaries.
He reminded them that after the Murcia-Valley Partnership, of which he is secretary general, has been Abarán socialist group where a greater percentage of votes received his candidacy, with more than 90 percent of the membership.
