With the support of the Ministry of Health, this plan requires the prior development of a social diagnosis to assess the real situation of the municipality for further development and to establish lines of action and activities to be carried out in 2011

The departments of Health and Social Welfare of the City of Abarán start up the Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction, thanks to a grant request to the autonomous region and granted by the Ministry of Health for an amount of 5,000 euros.

"In the initial phase will address the implementation of a Social Assessment involving all abaranera society to know the reality more accurately," said Councilwoman Health, M ª Carmen Tornero.

Once made the diagnosis, establish the objectives, courses of action and activities to be carried out in the Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction and its subsequent implementation planned for 2011.

For the preparation of this project is essential to study and analysis of resources and community needs are there in the municipality and the participation of all stakeholders: schools, associations of parents of students, youth associations, Central Social services, sports monitors, Local Police, Health Center, and other groups.
