Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gomez, accompanied by the councilman of Culture, Isabel Carrasco, opened on Sunday the Bethlehem municipal installed in the Chapel of Saints Medical.
After the blessing of Pastor Don Cayetano Abellán, the facility was officially opened to the public and will be open until 5 January.
The monumental nativity scene, about 85 square meters, has more than 800 pieces, representing 18 mysteries among which is the Nativity, the Annunciation to Mary, the Massacre of the Innocents, the Flight into Egypt, the Holy Family or the Annunciation of the Shepherds.
For assembly have been used more than 300 animals, about 200 figures, 30 of which have hinge, about 70 houses, plants, a miniature Ferris wheel made of wood and a multitude of objects acclimate inns, gardens and other rooms.
Also, materials such as cork, virgin cork, stone washed, cork or flat stones and a water pump, have been used to represent the mountains, river, or the cities of Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem.
