A total of 17 women have received their diploma Abarán as gerocultor Assistant, which enables them to work in the care of older people with degenerative dementia.
This work is part of the training program developed by the Road Association and funded by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration.
The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs, Juan Castro, handed over these degrees, "which are a first step of great importance in training and employment of this group of young women," she said.
Participants were women aged between 23 and 25, who started the course last October and have received a total of 340 hours of training.
Training programs funded by the Ministry are aimed at people at risk or socially excluded.
In the case of this association, the beneficiaries are mainly young women who, because of their poor training, many obstacles to join the workforce.
