The author Ana María Román steppe has won the tenth edition of Poetry Award Holder Humberto convened by the Center for Abaraneros and Culture Council of the City of Abarán, in collaboration with Social and Cultural Work and Group Europe Cajamurcia .
The jury has selected the narrative poem "The Caliph and the daughter of the cold" among the 112 works submitted in the contest.
The president of the Center for Abaraneros, José Gil García, notes that "the author shows in his writings a clear influence of oriental culture, Cordoba's own roots."
Resident in Navarra, Ana María Estepa Roman Wins the General category endowed with 1000 euros in cash and publication of the poems.
Also in Author category Abaranero, the prize will be forfeited.
The jury took into account the decision criteria of formal beauty, accuracy, innovation and originality.
The award ceremony will take place on April 29 at 19.00 at the Teatro Cervantes in an event organized by the Department of Culture to mark the commemoration of World Book Day which will also include the participation of students in the schools in the locality.
The organization is grateful for the reception of the tenth call of poetry awards Humberto Fork which has had 112 participants from various parts of the Spanish geography, and other countries like Mexico, France and Italy, among others.
Also reminded participants that are not returned or maintained original communication on the circumstances of the accident.
