Residents of the District of Abarán Virgen del Oro held last weekend festivities in honor of the patroness of the villa.
A variety of activities for all public and organized by the Celebration Committee and the Department of the City Party gathered for four intense days, neighborhood meetings, as the night of the gachasmigas or giant paella, sports and Musical performances were part of a broad program that included for the first time a parade of floats vegetable garden.
The Neighborhood also held the Coronation of Queen of the Festival 2011, Salmerón Laura Martinez, who with fellow Anabel Ortega y Arancha Gómez Carrillo Peris form the court of honor of the fair this year.
Young women, with the Queen of the Elderly, Milagros Saorin, and numerous abaraneros, accompanied the Virgen del Oro in the procession on Sunday, which was attended by the Agrupación Musical Santa Cecilia.
The patron saint cheers and applause were mixed with the excitement of the faithful at the time of the arrival of the Virgin to the church.
Also, the councilman Festival, Isabel Carrasco, near the village headman, Maria Luz Martinez, moved in his closing its appreciation for the support and participation of abaraneros.
