Abarán welcomed on Saturday the thirteenth Choral Competition in the Region of Murcia Murcia promoted by the Federation of Associations of Housewives, Consumers and Users, THADERCONSUMO.
The opening ceremony will be in charge of the municipal mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, and the president of the Federation, Jane Brown.
The event, which starts at 10am and is held in the Parish Church of St. Cosmas and St. Damian, located in the Hermitage, with the participation of eight choirs from Eagles, San Javier, Cartagena, Los Alcazares, Monteagudo, Reyllo Caves, Santiago de la Ribera and Sewer.
Special mention for the choir of Lorca had to suspend its activities in the earthquake that struck the town.
Also, this event will be held a fundraiser to assist those affected.
The Choral Competition Association of Amas de Casa de la Region de Murcia been carried out for over a decade and this year has enjoyed the cooperation of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Abarán.
