The Director General of Highways, Jose Guijarro, accompanied by the mayor of Abarán, Jesus Molina, today visited the stretch of highway RM-513, which connects the motorway from Cartagena to Albacete (A-30) with the town, which has installed a new fall protection system.

In the area of ​​operation, divided into four different sections for detailed study, have been placed seven 1,200 square meters in the form of wire mesh barrier and funnel, four and five feet high, and a network of steel cable protection of 600 square meters for the stabilization of the rocky areas.
