The Ministry of Public Works and Planning is undertaking the redevelopment of the road RM-513, an important second level is the natural access to the population of Abarán from Murcia-Albacete motorway (A-30 .)
The works are to improve the road section between mile markers 0.6 and 1.3 with the expansion of the existing platform, which allows make room for four lanes and a sidewalk, and the improvement of the track, increasing the radius curves, steady strengthening and renewal of signaling.
The budget of the shares amounted to 250,000 euros.
The Director General of Highways, José Guijarro, explained that this action will be more traffic flow and safety, and stressed the importance of the work given the high traffic that supports the road, with 8,805 average daily vehicles, 4.4 percent of heavy vehicles.
Subsequently, these works will be supplemented with others from steely and management, to be held under an agreement with the City of Abarán and has until 2014 to implement it.
According to the Directorate General of Highways, the works of the RM-513 will be completed when the Commonwealth Taibilla channel then rotate a water pipe, which is what now prevents complete work on the platform.
