The infrastructure will bring significant economic and employment benefits
The Ministry of Public Works and Planning authorized the installation of a solar farm in the municipality Abarán, with an investment of nearly 52 million euros and will occupy more than 112 acres of land, part of which municipal ownership.
So it has been announced by the Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, the mayor of Abarán, Jesus Molina, during a meeting held today in which also dealt with various issues of interest to the municipality.
The approval of the implementation of this infrastructure has been made through the Directorate General of Land and Housing and the public interest should be posed to the municipality, it will bring significant economic benefits and employment, both during the construction phase and in its implementation.
The term public interest of that planning consent granted by the regional administration favors a more flexible location of this facility and, therefore, it is an incentive to attract such investments in the Region of Murcia.
According to the data of the file submitted to the regional administration, promoted by installing Solar Garden Abarán SL will have a total capacity of 51,000 kW, divided in five fields of 10,000 kw, 235,000 photovoltaic panels and a transformer station itself.
