Drug supplied to small local distributors Espinardo for retail
The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation into drug trafficking that has resulted in the dismantling of a greenhouse clandestine marijuana cultivation, located in a rural house Abarán.
During the operation, have arrested two people suspected of drug trafficking offense and have learned more than 400 plants of various sizes ready for distribution and retail, and several useful for marijuana cultivation facility, computer equipment, tourism and a motorcycle.
The action is framed in the Civil Guard services developed in the region for the prevention and prosecution of drug trafficking by detecting points of production, distribution and sale.
Agents specialized in safety prevention, research began to get indications that, in a building of Abarán, was developing an illegal activity related to drug trafficking.
Inquiries directed to the civil guards to a farm in the outskirts of the town, where, presumably, was a marijuana.
After fully identifying the people who ran the house and once obtained all necessary evidence, the officers conducted a house search, where they dismantled a clandestine marijuana greenhouse, proceeding to the seizure of 405 plants of the substance and various supplies needed for cultivation.
Therefore, we proceeded to the arrest of the two involved in the production of marijuana, suspected of drug trafficking crime.
With this action, the Civil Guard has dismantled a point of sale of marijuana, which focused mainly on drug supply in the town of Espinardo (Murcia), for subsequent sale at retail.
Detained
In the performance, we proceeded to arrest on suspicion of crimes against public health, drug trafficking, two people identified as:
- Spanish, 29 years and resident of Abarán.
- Spanish, age 20 and resident of Abarán.
Substances seized
In the greenhouse have apprehended 405 illegal marijuana plants (Cannabis sativa) of different sizes.
Effects seized
In the house search, the agents involved different mounting material for growing marijuana plants and cultivation, computer equipment, a passenger car and a motorcycle.
Those arrested, drugs seized, the effects seized and proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Cieza (Murcia).
