The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has developed an action against drug trafficking has resulted in the dismantling of a point of distribution and sale of marijuana in a public establishment Abarán.
In the action has proceeded to the arrest of the two people who ran the establishment, on suspicion of drug trafficking crime, and have seized 23 bundles of marijuana that were hidden in a box of cigars ready for immediate sale .
The actions are framed within the Civil Guard services being developed in the region for the prevention and prosecution of drug trafficking through the detection and dismantling of points of production, distribution and sale of the substance.
The investigations began after agents specializing in safety prevention had news of the alleged involvement of a Abarán candy trade in illegal activities related to the sale of snuff, alcohol, nuisance and drug dealing.
Distributing marijuana to minors
After conducting an inspection of local shelves in one of the Meritorious spotted a cigar box containing 23 bundles of marijuana ready for immediate distribution and records of the sale of drugs to young people, some of them minors.
Therefore, we proceeded to the arrest of the two people who ran trade, suspected of drug trafficking offense, and the seizure of marijuana, effects related to illegal activity and cash.
Subsequently, the Civil Guard conducted, prior judicial authorization, a record at home of those arrested, where they seized 5,000 euros in cash.
Detained
With this action, we proceeded to the arrest of two people suspected of offenses against public health, drug trafficking, identified as:
- Spanish, 50 years and resident of Abarán.
- Spanish, 19 years old and a resident of Abarán.
Substances and cash seized
They have seized 23 bundles of marijuana (cannabis sativa).
In trade inspection and the house search, seized effects were related to drug trafficking, as well as 5,000 euros in cash.
Those arrested, drugs seized, the effects seized and proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 1 Cieza (Murcia).
