The Councillor for the Environment, José Gabriel Cano Montoro, presented this morning by the head of CP Juan XXIII, Antonio Miñano and the head teacher Juan José Martínez Soler, the exhibition "Climate Change" by environmental volunteer students (5 th and 6 th grade).
This exhibition can be visited in the Lecture Hall of the center is one of the activities scheduled in the Conference on World Environment Day to be held from 3 to 6 June.
The sample is a composite of posters on the various factors that affect our planet and saving energy.
The students, divided by sector (red, which takes stock of the environmental impacts, blue, to address the causes of the adverse weather and green, which refers to measures or solutions we can undertake to protect the planet) have explained each one of the 15 posters in the sample and have illustrated the presentation with visual images on how to conserve the planet.
Also aired a video of Jose Antonio Maldonado, a journalist for weather information on TVE 2, which explains what is causing this climate change.
Antonio Miñano, director of CP Juan XXIII, has expressed concern and commitment to this school by climate change, while Juan José Martínez pointed out the origin of this idea and design of posters: "They express very basic concepts all contribute to caring for the planet and the explanation is supported from the scientific point of view. "
For his part, Councillor for the Environment, José Gabriel Cano Montoro, encouraged children to look after the environment for a better future.
