Ruben Lucas Novas, Marta Laura Soriano Cano Gómez Maquilon and three students have been selected for the Programme Complement Foreign Language developed by the Hon.
Abarán City Council with the Department of Youth and Education and the IES Villa de Abarán.
Through this project, the three students receive a scholarship to spend a month in Dublin (Ireland) and training in foreign language.
According to Francisco Moreno, Director of IES, the criteria for selection of students have been primarily the grades obtained in 4 of the ESO and the first quarter of 1 high school.
Moreno said that the selection has been difficult because the number of requests and the high level of all students.
For its part, the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, said that this initiative represents an important opportunity for young people because they can access the opportunities to master a foreign language.
This has expressed the wish that this program be expanded and further developed over the coming years.
