Service Dependency Situations Prevention and Promotion of Personal Autonomy closed its year of operation on Monday 23 June with the performance of the play "La Patria Chica" of the brothers Alvarez Quintero Guerrero Theater in Mendoza.
Under the direction of Maria Molina and Sunday Carrelón, the 18 members of Theatre Workshop staged one of the most popular scripts Serafin and Joaquin Alvarez Quintero.
The artists, with a mean age of 70, rose for the first time on stage and faced the nerves to represent this great popular comedy skit, which caused continuous laughter and applause from the audience.
After the performance, the councilman of Social Welfare, M ª Carmen Turner, presented diplomas to students in the workshop and thanked the great work of the team that carried out the implementation thereof.
For its part, the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, actresses congratulated and encouraged everyone to continue with the workshops: "With your participation, we all win" said Antonio E.

Since last October, the Service Unit Situations Prevention and Promotion of Personal Autonomy has made support and assistance to user @ s at home.
Also in the Barrio Virgen del Oro, San José Artesano and Pensioner's Home have been performed as memory training workshops, music therapy, drama, crafts and new technologies in order to try to improve social integration and autonomy of older people and / or disabled.
A total of 142 people have benefited from this service which is funded by the SEF (Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia) and depends on the Councillors for Local Development and Social Welfare Hon.
