About 5 pm there was a fire in a ten-storey building in the Plaza de la Zarzuela.
A fifth-floor apartment on fire has burned and is still unknown reason that caused the fire.
Troops of the Guardia Civil, Local Police, Fire Cieza and Molina de Segura, Civil Protection and Personal Health came quickly to evacuate the building, care for affected and control fire.
Some of the residents have been evacuated by the stairs while living among the affected sixth and tenth floors had to climb to the terrace and move from there to building parallel.
Members of the Municipal Corporation moved to the scene to find out what happened and caring for those affected.
Fortunately there have been no human casualties, but the two dogs of the house fire have been found alive.
The building has been monitored by firefighters, members of the local police and the architect of City Hall and at 9 at night some of the neighbors and occupying their homes.
The most affected were the owners of the flats of the fourth, fifth and sixth floor.
Some of them take several days to get back to their homes.
Meanwhile, the City of Abarán has made available to the affected property, transport and all necessary assistance as well as a public service to carry out administrative procedures for damage assessment, complaints and inquiries that will be available from tomorrow at the Office of Tourism and Consumer Affairs.
