Tourism councilors of the municipalities belonging to the Valle de Ricote met last July 22 at the Directorate General of Tourism Infrastructure to discuss the draft of New Tourism Infrastructure Master Plan Ricote Valley.
This project has been developed based on various fields of interest among which are the following sections: Culture, Landscape, Information / Promotion, Lodging Restaurants, Events and Entertainment.
According to the Councillor of Tourism of the City of Abarán, José Gabriel Cano Montoro, the draft presents a series of actions that have been listed in a table of priorities numbered 1 to 3, with 1 being the highest priority proposal and 3, the proposed make longer term.
Thus, the City Council Abarán intends to implement in the field of culture the Musealisation de la Ermita de la Virgen del Oro, with priority 2, and conditioning of the Ethnographic Museum of the municipality, with priority 3.
A landscape level is to make the rehabilitation of the Route Norias, priority 1, and the conditioning of the Esplanade-Mirador de la Ermita de los Santos Medical, with the construction of a multi-storey car park, which has a Priority 3.
In regard to Information / Promotion will create an Office of Tourism and Handicraft Centre in the climb to the Ermita (Priority 1).
In paragraph Lodging / Restaurants are planned rehabilitation of the former cells of the Chapel of the Sierra del Oro for use as guest (priority 2), and the rehabilitation of the Mill Ice near the entrance of El Jarral for use as a restaurant.
(Priority 3).
The creation of the Water Park, with a priority 1 is the proposal of the Leisure section made by the City Council Abarán.
This site includes the area of La Noria Grande, the Teaching Garden, Route Norias, the water treatment plant and the bridge over the River Segura.
There is a period of 15 days to submit proposals and change the order of priorities.
From this period will become effective on Tourism Infrastructure Plan Ricote Valley.
