Aza Rock Festival celebrates its sixth edition will take place on 5 and 6 September in the City Park.
Of the 83 models received, six groups have been selected to participate in the semifinal, "a decision has not been easy given the musical quality, variety and originality of the material received," as pointed Javier Martínez, a member of the group Aza Rock in the presentation of the Festival held at the headquarters of Abarán Izquierda Unida.
The selection criteria were based mainly on common sense: "what you hear has to be consistent, professional and elegant, and the quality of the papers presented the choice was quite difficult because the original is in all groups and there compositions glad, "said Martinez.
ROCK AZA is a national competition which seeks to give impetus to launch professional musical groups.
With magic and quality, this year the festival features a lineup that promises which have included mixtures of styles such as mergers of free, jazz, flamenco fusion, pop rock or funk rock.
"The important thing is to show a different culture and make people feel at home", say the members of the group.
This edition also includes new features like a hiking trail to promote tourism in our town and a graffiti contest "in order not to exclude other forms of arts which will be incorporated."
Those interested in participating in this contest will join the Friday night concert at the bar.
A total of eight panels are available in public spaces will be relocated to the town.
The Rock Aza collective provides visitors and participants the shelter of the Sierra del Oro and the vicinity of City Park for accommodation.

For its part, The Locos Last Notice and close the festival with the participation of Modulok-3 (Madrid) Audio (Sangonera La Seca), Detroit Harbour (Alicante), The Electric Wasted (Barcelona); Ashira (Almería) and Scarabajo Jazz Band (Cieza).
The winners will receive € 1,200.
There will be prize money for the second and third place (800 € and 400 €, respectively).
For its part, Councillor for Fiestas, Isabel Carrasco, noted in his speech at the press conference that the festival is a way to publicize Abarán around the national scene, as well as promote tourism and creativity in young people.
Aza Rock, free admission, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 at Municipal Park Abarán, cultural alternative promoted by the United Left and the Collective Aza Rock and with the collaboration of the City of Abarán and different businesses and organizations.
