On Saturday November 29 was held at the Cultural Center "La Plaza" the 1st phase for the Chess Championship Regional School Sports Open category (which includes the categories of children, cadet and youth) in which about 80 school more than a dozen schools in the Region of Murcia.
The tournament director, José Gómez López, highlighted the excellent participation.
Antonio Gallego, chairman of the FARM (Chess Federation of the Region of Murcia) was the referee of the tournament, played in five rounds and Swiss-Manager software support.
The second referee Daniel Cortijo Domínguez.
Qualifiers scoring at this early stage for the second phase, to be held in January.
