The Monumental Belén Abarán, 85m2, has won first prize awarded by the Association Nativity in Bethlehem in the Region of Murcia.
Another 14 municipalities in the province have been registered in the contest, among which seven have won first prize in this mode.
Pedro Soriano Guillén, Secretary General of the Association, said some of the criteria that the jury must consider when voting and that focus on lighting, which can be fixed or variable, be visible or hidden correctly and the number of mysteries that you represent and their distribution, ie, "if you follow a consistent chronological order," he said.
The jury assessed the incorporation of new aspects such as the atmosphere created through music, the attention to detail, the size of the figures, which can range between 3 cm and 50 cm, complexity in implementation and installation, closing, the integration of the mountains and vegetation on the set or the harmony of l set.
For his part, St. Paul's College has won first prize in the Education Centre for the second consecutive year.
The awards ceremony will be held on January 2 at 8:00 p.m. in the Hall of CAM.
The councilman Festival Abarán City Council, Isabel Carrasco, collected on behalf of the municipality a figure of 21 cm and a diploma awarded by the Association of Bethlehem in the Region of Murcia.
