At developments in the Middle East since last December 27 are costing the lives of innocent civilians, Abarán City Council, through its highest representative, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, expresses its deep outrage at this situation:
<<One of our priorities for a ceasefire to halt the continuing deaths of innocent civilians and allow humanitarian access and assistance and evacuation of the wounded, we urge the conflicting parties to dialogue and to observe and respect international law, especially Humanitarian while supporting the democratic struggle against Hamas terrorism while respecting the rights and fundamental freedoms by all means avoid civilian casualties and innocent.
This City Council is in addition to the requirements of compliance with UN resolutions for the recognition of an independent Palestinian state, democratic and viable>>.
