The Youth Council Abarán City Council, in collaboration with the Institute for Youth in the Region of Murcia, has scheduled a series of free workshops and activities for young people to be held at the Cultural Center Plaza and in the slums of San José Artesano, Virgen del Oro and Hoya del Campo and scheduled to begin from next Thursday, 5 February.

Batuka, hiking, mask carving, macrame, creating handmade purses and key chains, introduction to digital photography or ice skating are the proposals of the Youth Council.

Entries will be formalized at the Cultural Center Plaza (968774548) and the social centers of the Slum.

WORKSHOPS

LA PLAZA CULTURAL CENTER:

.- BATUKA (Tuesday and Thursday from 20.00h to 9:00 p.m.). Start: Tuesday 10 February.

.- MASKS WORKSHOP (Tuesday and Thursday from 16.30h to 6:30 p.m.). Start: Thursday 5 February.

SOCIAL CENTER VIRGIN GOLD SLUM

.- Workshop Macrame (Monday and Wednesday from 17.30h to 19.30h). Start: Monday 9 February.

.- BATUKA (9:00 p.m. Friday from 20:00). Start: Friday 13 February.

SAN JOSE YOUTH CENTER CRAFT

.- COIN SHOP AND KEYRINGS (will be provided on Saturdays. Timetable to be determined).

HOME THE BOAT IN SOCIAL HOYA CAMP

.- Workshop Macrame (Thursday 17.30h to 19.30h). Start: Thursday 12 February.

.- WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY (1:00 p.m. Saturdays from 11.00). Start: Saturday 14 February.

ACTIVITIES

.- WALKING: ONE ROUTE, ANOTHER STORY

This activity will take place the fourth Sunday of each month. Start: Sunday 22 February. Output from the Plaza de la Zarzuela (was) at 8.30 am.

Guided tour.

ICE SKATING .-

Activity for young people aged 14 years (with consent of parents or guardians if under 18). Saturday 21 February.

Departure from Plaza de la Zarzuela (was) at 9:30.

Activity Price: 3.50 euros.

There is limited places for workshops and activities.

Places are allocated in strict order of registration.
