The Department for Women has scheduled a series of workshops and activities for the first quarter of 2009 that have had great success of participation.
Entries received have exceeded all expectations, which has forced this Department to enable up to three waiting lists to carry out certain activities.
The workshops are scheduled from the Department of Women and are designed to "provide a range of education and leisure with the aim of contributing to personal development, thus providing quality service", as stated by the City Council of Women, Isabel Carrasco.
"So, they say we can highlight workshops such as computer science, English or new technologies, an area perhaps more training, but also of natural medicine, or cosmetics shop and basic skin care, one of the that has permeated the public and which has led to three waiting lists. "
The workshops not only be held in the Cultural Center Plaza but have been offered in the slums, "to facilitate access to these people who live in the districts," he continued Isabel Carrasco.
"We feel a great satisfaction to see that we hit upon the proposals, due to the excellent response from people," concluded Councillor for Women's Hall of Abarán.
