Aid management aimed at older people with disabilities, special assistance and support exceptionally non-recurrent social inclusion and protection will be held at the Centre for Social Participation "Luis Miguel Melgarejo Molina, (968 451192) located opposite the school John XXIII.

The Department of Social Welfare to inform citizens of the implementation of the Financial Assistance Plan 2009 proposed by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, the IMAS and the Directorate General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs.

Below are the various aids which can be accessed:

1 .- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SENIORS (EMPA)

Requirements: Age 60 or over and resident in the Region of Murcia on the date of the application.

Application deadline: Until April 30

Basic home care (bathing, cleaning ...)

.

Staple Appliances

.

Repair and adaptation of housing

.

Prosthesis (glasses, dentures and hearing aids treatments)

2 .- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (AIPD)

Eligibility requirements for aid: Have disability equal to or greater than 33% recognized before the deadline of application for these grants, reside in the Region of Murcia on the date of the application and in the case of an immigrant, having residence permit.

Application deadline: Until March 31

- Personal Care

- Home care

- Functional adaptation household

- Elimination of architectural barriers

- Technical assistance

- Transportation for rehabilitation and specialized care centers

- Help for disabled resident

3 .- SPECIAL AID EXCEPTIONAL

Requirements: Reside in the Region of Murcia.

Application Period: until November 15, 2009

- Aid to meet individual or family circumstances that are in a situation of dire need can not be met by other resources.

4 .- NO REGULAR INSERTION AID AND SOCIAL SECURITY

Requirements: To reside for a minimum of 6 months in the Region of Murcia, per capita income does not exceed 50% of SMI, and in the course of living sun to be affected by disability and not exceed 70% of SMI.

Application Period: until 30 April.

- Condition the family environment to achieve minimum habitability.

- Equipment for personal and domestic imperative.

- Financial support for other situations arising from exceptional circumstances.
