According to the Regional Blood Donation Centre of the Ministry of Health, Region of Murcia, on Monday obtained an excellent response from the citizens of the municipality of Abarán who traveled to the Health Center Abarán to donate blood.

The service responded to about 158 people, of which 19 could not donate for health reasons.

About 9 people were new donors and managed 139 total donations.

According to the Regional Centre of Blood Donation, the donation rate in Abarán is 52 persons per 100 inhabitants, exceeding the national average is at 36.

Members of the Municipal Corporation moved to the Health Center to support this initiative.

The Unit will move back to Abarán Health Center on Monday April 27 and will serve donors from 17.00h.
