On Wednesday May 13, Councilman Local Development and Employment Abarán City Council, José Luis Tornero Carpena, met with the Director General of Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Region of Murcia, Ginés Martínez, with the to analyze the current economic context Abarán Township, explain how it's affecting the economic crisis and try to find alternatives to job creation.
At the same meeting also discussed issues related to subsidies paid in the last Local Government, helps account for an initiative to encourage and promote employment among the unemployed in the municipality.
Carpena Tornero revealed the need for such subsidies are granted.
These subsidies are a draft employment workshop called "ANDARRAIX" that will employ 22 unemployed in the municipality for 1 year in the form of socio-cultural and Child Care in the amount of 522,965.39 euros.
Other grants have also been requested for unemployed workers are:
"Conditioning and Measurement of Buildings and Public Spaces" Euro 130,009.87 which was requested at 6 masons 2 painters and 4 gardeners
"Prevention of situations of dependency and personal empowerment" 93,945.49 euros which has requested a Social Worker 7 Support Assistants and 1 Therapist Home Occupations
"Educational Intervention in child and youth area" where EUR 54,012.52 has been requested to 4 Educators
"Youth Service Project Social and Cultural Promotion" Get Involved "53,904.37 euros which is requested to 1 Psychologist 1 and 4 Technical Computer Monitors leisure and education
Have also been requested, like last year, various reports to promote employment among college graduates (Technical Tourism, Technical Environmental, Technical Library)
Ultimately, all these subsidies "can provide jobs in the coming months to 60 unemployed and amounts to an approximate amount of 920,000 euros," said Councilman Employment.
