Colegio San José Artesano participates in the activity "Schools travelers' promoted by the Ministry of Education and Science for which 15 students in grades 5 and 6 of primary school, accompanied by a teacher, will travel to the Principality of Asturias to get their tourist routes.
This activity is performed in conjunction with two other schools from Toledo (Corral de Almaguer) and the province of Tarragona (Perafort).
The Ministry of Education and Science established the procedure for granting aid to the completion of this activity are held to the stages of spring and autumn during the 2008/09 academic year 2009/10.
Aid was granted for 510 groups of 12 to 15 students and a professor of ordinary Spanish centers.
The maximum amount of aid is EUR 1,918,891.
San José Artesano school six days a Asturias travel in what purports to be a day of living, through which they learn about other cultures and students can be enriched by sharing experiences.
This activity is intended for students to acquire knowledge through previous work in the center and the development of the route and purchase habits, attitudes and standards of living.
The Department of Tourism, working with this activity, the center has provided local tourist brochures (Visit our churches and Abarán, life slowly) Abarán typical products, such as mischief, a DVD to promote tourism and different gifts .
