This agreement is to establish collaboration between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, and the City of Abarán for the provision of services and programs for equal opportunities and operation of the Local Employment Center for Women.

Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, and the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, signed on May 27 an agreement by which conducted training programs, services and activities in equality of opportunity as well as the operating program of the Local Employment Center for Women.

The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, provide services for creating and implementing equal opportunity programs the amount of 20,857 euros.

Also, go for the launch of the Local Employment Center a total of 11,510 euros.

Training Program

The Training Plan for Gender Equality of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia (iMRM), aims to draw general gender perspective to provide conceptual and methodological bases that achieve real equality.

The training aims to bring together and unite training programs that iMRM has developed along three lines of action: a) Provide training in gender equality and equal opportunities for staff of public administrations, as well as any area professionals and students; b) Promote training programs for women, to promote full participation and to remove barriers that prevent or hinder access to different levels (from the workplace to new information technologies and communication); c) promote training activities to prevent and detect violence, to raise awareness of this problem and to train various professional profiles involved.

Program services and activities on equal opportunities

Programs designed to manage, design, implement and evaluate positive action projects to be developed in all areas of public participation and plan, plan and implement projects and activities related to equal opportunities for men and women.

Programme of the Centre for Women Local Employment

Whose purpose is to provide an information service work, preforming and guidance to women, that encourages and facilitates their access to the labor market to improve equality between men and women.
