Abarán City Council are developing a series of activities related to knowledge and care of the natural environment and which is intended to commemorate the World Environment Day, to be held tomorrow, June 5.
This day is considered one of the main vehicles used by the United Nations to promote global awareness of our environment.
Climate change, combating soil erosion, improved water cycle, maintenance of biodiversity and socio-economic development of rural areas are some of the biggest challenges in the region of Murcia on the road to sustainable development .
The activities, which began last Tuesday, June 2, include an exhibition entitled "Climate change" can be visited in Room 3 of the Cultural Center Plaza.
The environmental technician, Minerva Aviles Gomez, leader of the shows, teaches students the main causes that influence climate change on our planet.
