Due to rising temperatures at this time, the Department of Health Abarán City Council informs the public about the risk of dehydration, cramps, exhaustion and heat stroke can cause death.

Measures to combat the effects of heat:
Frequently drink water or fluids without waiting until you are thirsty, unless there are medical contraindications.
Avoid alcoholic beverages, high sugar, coffee and tea.
Refresh with a shower, or simply wet your.
Make snacks to help you replenish the salts lost through sweating (salads, fruits, vegetables, juices ...)
Outside, protect yourself from the sun, seek shade, cover your head, use light clothing and light colored shoes and a cool, comfortable and breathable.
Take care of your skin with adequate sun protection and wear glasses with UV filters.
Reduce strenuous physical activity outdoors during the hottest hours and if necessary, extreme precautions.
At home, lower the blinds when the sun falls directly on the windows and do not open when the outside temperature is high.
Refreshes the air with fans and cooling systems, always with a rational use of them.
