Abarán again host the International University of the Sea, which moved its classes from 13 to 17 July at La Plaza Cultural Center where he teaches a course on promoting employment and rural development.
The inaugural conference, by the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, was offered by the Director of Irrigation and Rural Development, Angel Bernal, who apologized for the absence of the Regional Director.
The second of the papers was given by the Deputy Director of Equality and Modernization of the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, Isabel Aguilar Pastor.
Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, welcomed the presence and participation of the attendees and also congratulated the directors of the course "on the elaboration of a comprehensive and informative training program."
The mayor said that the City of Abarán, in collaboration with the University of Murcia, has the purpose of providing education to all citizens, and facilitate access to new information technologies and communication and provide options that promote job creation while promoting rural areas of our region.
"Proof of this is the opportunity provided by the Universidad del Mar, to move this project to the town of Abarán and count on us for the second consecutive year," said Gomez.
The course is geared to learning and knowledge of Rural Development Programs for economic revitalization, revitalization of tourism based on the sustainability of the territory, business opportunities and exploitation of natural resources in the environment.
In addition to its practical part provides for the conduct of emblematic tourist routes in areas of the Region of Murcia, as is the Ricote Valley, as well as our town, such as the Tour of the landscape of the Norias.
Among the program blocks Antonio Eugenio Gomez referred to the paragraph headed to the aid that the administration used for rural development and which aim to promote business ideas.

Today's schedule with the presentation "Main action lines of the Rural Development Programme", by Julio Bernal, Director General of Irrigation and Rural Development of the CARM and round table involving the representative of agricultural organizations Carmen Hernandez Ortega (FECOAM).
A 19.00 is planning a tour of the route of the wells, whose explanation will be provided by Francisco Carreño Sandoval.
Wednesday's 15 th will focus on the dynamic method as Leader of the countryside.
